After a two years of introspection and work, PFTP is excited to be actively inviting new board members to join our team. We will be bringing on up to six people who want to join us in this capacity.

We are especially excited about Board Members with experience and/or connections in any of the following priority areas:

• Leading equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives with nonprofit Board and staff

• Cultivating partnerships with culturally specific organizations

• Advancing racial equity in the community

• Deep connections to Portland and knowledge of Portland history

• Connections to people and organizations working in the areas of urban agriculture, urban forestry, workforce development, community resilience, or food justice

• Cultivating financial sustainability

• Development and Fundraising

• Nonprofit governance  

Or maybe you’re not feeling like an expert, but you’re really excited about growing skills in any of these capacities. PFTP is always game to help facilitate learning!
