8/28 UPDATE- Positions Filled : )Now Hiring! Americorps Role and Paid Teen Internship in East PDX
We are VERY excited to share the launch of a new pilot project in partnership with Oregon State University to provide paid internships for East Portland teens around regenerative agriculture and engaging with urban fruit. As a part of this pilot project, we will be hiring an Americorps service member in partnership with Confluence Environmental Center to act as our East PDX Community Orchard Coordinator as well as up to 12 East Portland teen paid interns who will learn about caring for and harvesting from the trees at the Parkrose Orchard and beyond, connect with green job opportunities to consider post graduation, and engage with cooking and preserving fruit.
