PFTP Fruit-Finding Fun Ride: July 9th 10:30-1pm

Portland Fruit Tree Project is having a Pedalpalooza ride this year!

When: Saturday, July 9th, 10:30am - 1pm. 

Your mission: Find fruit trees, send in a photo and geo-tag, help Portland Fruit Tree Project, win prizes! 

This is a free event and we welcome all ages!

Start: Parkrose Community Orchard

12505 NE Halsey St Portland, OR 97230

Arrive by 10:30am. Ride will start at 11:00am.

End: Von Ebert Brewing Glendoveer

14021 NE Glisan St Portland, OR 97230

Ride will end at 1:00pm. Minors allowed & Kids menu available. 

Parking available. Public transportation: Bus 77 or 9 minute bike ride from NE 82nd MAX stop (blue, red, green lines)

Riders will be divided into teams of 3-6 people. You may come with a team or we can assign you to a team. Whichever team locates and submits the most urban fruit trees will win the grand PRIZE! Your finds will help the Portland Fruit Tree Project identify sources of fresh fruit in our neighborhood for distribution to Rockwood Station residents. 

*If you don't have a bike we will have a few bikes on loan from Bikes for Humanity for free. Bikes are not necessary for participation in this event, walkers are welcome!

Grand prize - $50 gift card to Deschutes Brewery

And other prizes include Deschutes swag and a Bambu kitchen supply gift basket.
