Hiring Two Part Time Seasonal Harvest Support Roles

Thanks to a generous grant from the Herbert A. Templeton foundation, we’re hiring two part time seasonal roles to help increase our harvest capacity!

For both roles:

 Time Commitment: 20hrs/wk, hours may vary based on seasonality

Term: July 26, 2021- November 19, 2021         Pay Rate: $15/hr

Benefits: Flexible work schedule, remote office, great team

Harvest Admin Support:

A successful candidate will be:

  • Super detail oriented and customer service focused

  • Largely, if not entirely, remote/from home, so great at self direction

Harvest Outreach:

A successful candidate will be:

  • Incredibly social and outgoing

  • Comfortable in a less structured, more ambiguous role with a lot of freedom to explore ideas

  • Somewhat remote, but often out at events or canvassing neighborhoods

What to expect as a candidate:

We’ll be holding phone screens for candidates that feel like a good fit. We expect these roles to be pretty entry level, so if you don’t feel 100% qualified on paper, don’t let that hold you back! We really care about passion and cultural fit!

After phone screens, we’ll either let you know some dates/times for an in person or remote interview, or we’ll let you know that we’re moving ahead with other candidates.

After this step, we’ll make our offer and we hope folk can start pretty quickly after that, since harvest season is upon us!

Office Culture:

Liliana will be supervising this role, Heather will provide support as needed. We work as a pretty tight team and don’t function really hierarchically. We are looking for someone that will be a good fit with this team and dynamic. We both work from home offices and touch base regularly on Slack and by phone/email.
