Pi(e) Day Crust Class, With Pastry Chef Emily Soblosky

  • Food Innovation Center 1207 Northwest Naito Parkway Portland, OR, 97209 United States (map)

Hands-on mixing, forming and best practices will be covered, and attendees will take home a few dough balls each to be ready for the upcoming harvest season.

Come enjoy wine, N/A beverages, cheese and crackers, and "Stash your Dough" with us, in the beautiful Food Innovation Center Facility on NW Naito.

*Note- we are making a full dairy butter and gluten recipe. We often have variations in our class scope, but this particular class will have group prep aspects.

About Emily Soblosky:

Emily Sablosky (she/her) is a classically trained Pastry Chef that hails from NYC and has lived in the PNW for 10+ years. Emily not only does sweet, but she is a master of savory, too! When she first landed in Portland, she worked her way up to Sous Chef at one of the city's top steakhouses. She then sought jobs that married her love of sweet and savory, and worked at some of Portland’s favorite cafes. Since leaving traditional restaurants, she has gone on to become a private chef, small caterer, teacher, and custom cake maker. She makes beautiful nature and floral inspired cakes that focus on edible and natural decorations.

While her professional page is under construction, please find her at @penelopepie on IG for inquiries on custom cooking and baking needs!
